B90, Day 23: No Secrets

Scripture: 2 Samuel 12:12

You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.

Observation: Davide does something he knows is wrong, but commits this wrong in secret. Well, from man's eyes anyway. God sees all and know it anyway. God is promising to "return the favor" in broad daylight in front of the entire nation!

Application: Just because we do it in secret from man doesn't mean it's a secret. It's a lie that will taint our hearts and consciousness because we know God saw it.

Prayer: Lord, I am so glad my hear, soul, and life are an open book to you. Help me to learn to be as honest with everyone as I am with you.
