B90, Day 17: Symbols

Scripture: Joshua 22:34

And the Reubenites and the Gadites gave the altar this name: a Witness Between Us that the Lord is God.

Observation: These tribes built this altar to ensure their brethren on the other side of the river would not forget that they too were part of Israel.

Application: We all use symbols between each oher that tell us we remember the Lord is God. Maybe we need to let our behavior show it more.

Prayer: Lord, please help me behave in a manner more pleasing to you. In a manner that shows the world the Lord is my God.
