B90, Day 15: Help Each Other

Scripture: Deuteronomy 24:19

When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do no go back to get it. Leave it for the alien, the fatherless, and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Observation: God wants them to leave some behind for the less fortunate, and promises to bless them for doing so.

Application: We should remember to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Sometimes it takes so little to help.

Prayer: Father, thank you for watching out for me, and giving others the kind heart to help me when I have been in need. Help me to be as kind and to return that favor by finding ways to help, whatever they may be.
