B90, Day 33: Pride

Scripture: 2 Chronicles 26:16 (partial)

But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall.

Observation: Pride=downfall. Pride is bad.

Application: A healthy self-esteem and sense of satisfaction in a job well done is one thing. True pride, boastful pride, to the point that you put yourself first, even above God, is another thing. And it will always lead to your downfall.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me to not be full of pride. Help me to rememer those that helped me and supported me, loved me, and got me there, wherever "there" may be. Most especially, help me to remember to put YOU first Father.
